Mahadevi – The Unseen Truth Behind Existence

This book is an attempt to draw closer to the essence of divine feminine and shatter the several myths we might be dwelling on.

Mahadevi is branched into two parts.

Part 1 is a narration for the rational mind by Aadi Shakti Mahadevi. It is an account of some enthralling events through the multiverse, inhabited by numerous celestial beings, in the backdrop of the genesis of this universe. A chronicle of Gods and Goddesses, their struggles, the devious web of right and wrong, love in its complete glory, its absence, ecstasies, miseries, and the wars of the worlds.

Part 2 is an anthology of nine entrancing stories, many based on true events, revealing often unheeded qualities of Mahadevi nesting within everyday women of Kali Yuga.

Voices of Admiration

An intriguing exploration of mythology and creation, Mahadevi tells our ancient stories and ties them to the natural world around us. I congratulate Priyanka Sharma Kaintura on her creative work and wish her all the best for her writing career.

It is a book that brings to life a hitherto unseen and unexplored take on Hindu Goddesses. A delicious blend of ancient history and contemporary storytelling with a nuanced perspective on womanhood and its often-unremarked prowess. A brilliant read indeed.

Here is an audacious attempt to retell the story that the humanity first heard from Bharat, in a refreshingly engaging way. Read this book to discover what an incredibly illuminating perspective we have been deprived of in the name of secular education.

Reader Reviews

Must read for all women and anyone who wants to read Devi Mahatmya in English. I recently read an English translation of Shiv Purana Vol 1 by Bibek Debroy and I got the same vibes while reading Mahadevi

Mihika (Kindle Customer)

Reading the book itself was a true privilege for me. I was so intrigued by the cover that I decided to read the book. But little did I know, the book would turn out to be the most interesting read this year! I was mesmerised, stunned, when I turned the pages over and over. The description, the writing style, and the presentation of the story were too good. The amount of power and beauty this book holds is incomparable

Prachi Biswal

This book is an attempt to demolish the various misconceptions we may be clinging to while getting closer to the core of their divine.
