LIFE

Life is like a train journey which will definitely come to an end at one point. How and when you wouldn’t know regardless of the fully valid ticket to your destination. You do not invite anyone for this journey except the ones you chose to book the tickets with and share your baggage with. The rest of the passengers will happen to you anyway. Some will join you from the very onset, some a little later and some towards the fag end. Some will be in the same compartment as you but will keep distant. Some may walk into you while looking for something or someone else. Some will leave you sooner than you would have liked. A few may happen to oversleep and miss their destination only because you were destined to know more of them. Some will share a bite. Some laughter. Some will play a game of cards with you. Some may judge you for laughing too much. Or talking too much. Or just being silent too much. Some will clean up the mess before they leave. Some will leave you with the mess and disembark. Very few would have made no mess at all. Those are the ones who were clearing it along the journey. Wherever your journey ends, happy or not, the ones who offer to pick your baggage whether you started your journey with them or not, despite the disagreements or fatigue through the journey and walk you to your destination are your people. Or the ones who watch your back when you are walking away are your people. And sometimes, only sometimes, someone may miss to make that offer but may come back looking for you. Those are late learners but still your people.
